European Journal of Entomology (EJE) is an international Open Access journal covering the whole field of entomology (general, experimental, systematic and applied). The language of publication is English. Suitable manuscripts are reviewed by independent referees before acceptance.
Important announcement. The European Journal of Entomology became an electronic-only, Open Access journal in 2016. This brings the following changes beginning with Vol. 113 (2016):
- The journal will be no longer produced in printed form. Only the ISSN of the electronic form (1802-8829) will be used, that of the printed version (1210-5759) will disappear from the journal.
- All papers will be published online immediately after proofreading and will be freely available on our website (www.eje.cz) under the Creative Commons (CC-BY) license. Also all previous volumes (2015 and earlier) will be free.
- Authors will pay a per-publication fee; current information about that fee is available in our online information for authors here.
- To satisfy requirements of the 2012 “Amendment of Articles 8, 9, 10, 21 and 78 of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature to expand and refine methods of publication”, the journal will be archived in one or more certified electronic storage facilities and taxonomic papers containing nomenclatural acts and new names within those papers will be registered in ZooBank to ensure validity of those papers for purposes of zoological nomenclature from the date of publication (which will be stated on each paper together with the registration codes).
